Lexington Cemetery - April 24, 2010

The Audubon Society of Kentucky found lots of great birds at the Lexington Cemetery this morning. Warblers included Hooded, Ovenbird, Yellow-rumped, Nashville, Black-and-white, and Black-throated Green. At one point we had three vireo species in the same tree - Yellow-throated, Blue-headed, and Red-eyed. The weather was perfect and the storm clouds parted to let the sun in for most of the morning. Due to the threat of weather, I decided to leave my 35mm camera in the truck but managed to get some good shots with my little Nikon Coolpix.
