Michelle and I had a great time visiting Charleston, Savannah and Hilton Head Island in early November. A scary amount of seafood was consumed and I must have gained 3 pounds in the 7 days we were down there. The weather was very nice with temps at or near 70 on most days and with rain only on the first morning of the trip. We enjoyed kayaking and bike riding at Hilton Head, the Hilton Head Oyster Festival, sunrises and long walks on the beach, Ft. Sumter, Historic Charleston, birding at Pickney Island, the Savannah Walking Tour, the Forrest Gump bench, and many other activities of the Low Country.
