Michelle, Chazzy and I spent a great day birding the areas around Cave Run Lake. We didn't find any eagles but did manage to find our FOS Pine Warblers, Phoebes, and Tree Swallows. We were hoping for a Blue-headed Vireo but did not find one. Waterbirds included Loons, PB-Grebes, Horned Grebes, Bufflehead, Wigeons, Mallards, Scaup and Ring-necked Ducks. The temps climbed into the seventies as we listened to Pine Warblers singing in every stand of pines.....spring has sprung.
