Center Creek / Breaks - July 14, 2007

After a quick 7-mile bike ride along an old mining road in Lynn Camp, Michelle and I decided to cool off in Center Creek at the Breaks. We had a great time, enjoyed the waterfalls, jumped into a mountain pool, and made our way down to the Russell Fork of the Big Sandy. Along the way we found several species of flowers as well as a couple different species of crayfish......and a frog.

Ed, That's where you cut your chin open on the water slide, when you were a scout, remember? Our troop was doing a over-nighter in the park. Very good shots, Take care! Dad

Looks like you guys had some real fun! I enjoyed the cool photos. We locals call the swimming hole the "Choke Hole". Do the small fish still nip at your toes & legs? Dave
