We had a great hike in the Berea Woods area this morning. The temps climbed to near 90 but the birds put on a good show. Warblers included Pine, Yellow-throated, Worm-eating, Hooded, Kentucky, Prairie, Common Yellowthroat, Chat, Parula, Black-and-white, and Ovenbird. A Wood Duck with two little ones was seen on the reservoir. Butterflies were everywhere and I managed a few pictures of them. Most of the hike was off-trail which makes for interesting discoveries.
