Tonight when I went to Next Step it brought tears to my eyes!
During the day the staff created an “aloha store” with all of
the donated items you gave to the shelter. The items were packed
in zip lock bags for easy distribution. The families at Next Step
lined up to tell us what they needed as we filled their orders. It
was such a treat for everyone!!!

The kids and adults are still talking about the party!!

The clothing boxes are still lined against the wall with the
Aloha banner hanging. It is so pretty we don’t want to take it down!
The clothing will be distributed this week. I will be sure to send
photos of the keiki in their brand new outfits!



I was thinking today about the similarity between the Next Step Shelter
and AQ. The Next Step Shelter is really just a big empty metal warehouse,
and today it is a neighborhood, filled with families and beautiful, loving children.

Just as the employees of AQ, because of the extraordinary people you
are have transformed a fleet of aircraft in to Hawaii’s finest airline.
