Mother Holding Child

Museum of the Native American Indian

I have been waiting forever to go to this museum. The lighting in
the museum is not the best, but I was pleased with the outcome of this image.

I had to overcome the obstacle of not being able to take a tripod in the museum by
holding my arms together as tight as possible, holding my breath and hoping for the best.

c'est très beau, une lumière excellente qui met bien en valeur la figurine. C'est très bien photographié.

nice shot. I also took a photo of this when I was visiting the museum... it just really catches your eye. It's also nice that they're so photo friendly there (no complaints about using flash, etc.)

Beautiful job, April! Nice composition with the oval. Congratulations on being able to handhold at that shutter speed. I can't do that!

I could not believe it myself. This was my third attempt. The museum does not allow tripods.

Yes, I held my arms together as tight as possible, held my breath and took the picture.
