This picture was taken (from the Tidal Basin) on an early December morning
when the sun etched wonderful hues on the Memorial Bridge, with the City
of Rosslyn in the background.

The filtering was a great choice here: not only does it fill
the photo with attracting, pleasing colors, but those colors
help tie together the disparate elements in a way that the
trees alone probably couldn't have done. There's a real
peace to this scene.
