The old red brick building with black colour tile roof is May Wing of the Old Halls of HKU. Behind it is the grey colour building with blue colour tile roof is the Robert Black residential hall for post graduates. This is definitely that part of HKU campus up the hill behind the famous Lotus pond and stretches as far as the Vice-chancellor’s residence that sits at the top of road. Also, one can see the then newly constructed reinforced retaining structures of the deadly 1972 landslide at Conduit Road.
This is University Drive. The flats are 2 University Drive and the Vice Chancellor's residence is at the top of the drive. The pic is taken from Queen Mary Path. I lived in the University compound for 10 years!!

I am a HKU graduate in the early 90s. I doubt that it is a picture of HKU.
