In the late 70s and early 80s, I lived across from the community center (brick building) and attended the Kau Yan School (church building). This photo brings back fond memories. Thank you for sharing.

This street looks pretty much the same but no parked cars now. I lived in a big pink building called Western Gardens in second street built in 1982 - which you would see at the bottom right if this pic was taken later. The old brown building on the right and the church are still there. The whole area is being redeveloped now - all the old blocks have been bought up and are ready to be demolished - shame.

Now already been a busy main road connecting Western Harbour Tunnel and the Mid-levels.
BTW, there're 2 underground toilet at roadside, right behind the red car until late 1990s.
