I'm no of fan of the gambling vices, but the hotel with it's former location jutting out into the sea flanked by a long causeway seafront lined with shops back to Macau's city center was a beautiful majestic scene.
Now, it's like an old ah-po with it's aging architecture and dwarfed by the megalopolis Vegas run casino blocks crowding into it. And worse, it feels dead now, because it's former charm was that it was visually connected to the sea. Now, it's just seems to have run aground.

The Lisboa is still there but it's dwarfed by giant casino's all based around their Las Vegas parents. Across the road from it is the new Venetian. And they have reclaimed massive tracts of land so the Lisboa no longer a seafront view.
Stayed there in the late 80's
