Sorry, Tom. That's Ohel Leah Synagogue, which is still around. The photo appears to be taken from Robinson Road looking east towards the (then) grounds of the Jewish Recreation Club.

Jewish Recreation Club. Directly opposite 77 Robinson Road and demolished in the 80s..
