Wow, this takes me back! I lived in HK from 1976-1984. I lived in the green building in the background for 3 years. Monte Verde was the name. The other buildings were twin Brook and Ming Wah Gardens. Thanks for posting.

Deep water bay is the only time i nearly drowned in my life, had to be rescued, was in HK from 1959 to 1973.Went to Quarry Bay school, Kennedy Rd junior school, Glenealy, then Island school
I still remember how you walk into the water and find a sheer drop just off shore
I also lived at 66 Robinson Road
Lived in Conduit Road just down the road from the Kotewall Rd disaster at the time,also lived next to the peak tram in Mcdonnell Rd the only time the peak tram cable broke, think it was typhoon rose time.
