fab shot!
your images kind of "reality check"...soo natural, i would like to touch those fishes...
Guest 09-Apr-2005 10:12

Excellent portrait Antonis, maybe crop a bit off the top?

Fabulous. I love the open air markets and miss it very much here in the states.
Gary Winters09-Apr-2005 03:08
He looks so friendly and approachable and like he'd be nice if you asked a really dumb question! Good shot, I like how you got down low and shot up at him.

I like the perspective and the exposure. The lighting is always so central to your photographs. Great photo.
Guest 09-Apr-2005 00:58
love the wide DOF. looks like a painting
Guest 08-Apr-2005 23:44
Amazing detail in your b&w images ... always so much to see! :)
Guest 08-Apr-2005 22:55
Antonis your images are outstanding..
Guest 08-Apr-2005 22:34
That's a winner, Antonis. This picture is worth more than a thousand words, especially the merchant's kind, content expression (although I like the products as well!).

Are they fresh enough? Please get me that one on the corner.
So natural capture.

Looks like a man who is really contented with his lot - excellent as always.

A little daily life universe is offerd to all of us, as a precious gift, by your sensitiveness of photographer.
Silence and admiration....

Magnificent job getting this low light scene just right without the bright light bulbs getting blown out. Not to mention the wonderful portrait of the fish market man who looks like he really takes pride in his product.
Guest 08-Apr-2005 20:15
B&W, wide angle, authentic surroundings and well executed. Like 'm!
Guest 08-Apr-2005 20:05
your "wide" portraits are marvellous my friend...

Nice subject to shoot with and very well done.

I hadn't noticed it until Christina pointed it out. Indeed, it's a great perspective that really makes you feel like an observer. Now anyone for some seafood? :)
Guest 08-Apr-2005 19:26
I agree with Christina, lots to look at here. Great tones and exposure (of which you're the master, Antonis).
Christina Craft08-Apr-2005 19:08
Really like the perspective here. I like that you've composed it so your eye sees what your subject is up to. Cool stuff.
