22 Feb 2005 "Portrait of a wandering musician"

Greece

After a lot of thought and the advice of my friends Paseggeri Clandestini and Gary Winters,
i decided to change the colour manipulation of this image.
For now on my musician is no longer the green man as i never intented to be so.
I hope that you all like it this way.

Wonderful! I must have commented on the previous version as I remember him very well!

How did I miss commenting on this? I'm so honored to have played even a small role here. The image is fantastic!

I certainly do like it!

I do like the green tint. But I agree with LC; it's a great shot underneath as well.

I love the fantastically ornate instrument, is it a rebec? Sad man playing a
sad song perhaps?

I like the changes you've made on this Antonis... this color is very good. But it started first with a fantastic character and composition.

'The Green Man', he could be a spy in a film.

The green is certainly different... yet the more I look at it, the more I like it.
Gail Davison 22-Feb-2005 22:45
An interesting shot and the green is different. Fun.
Autumn Sky 22-Feb-2005 20:51
Very nice portrait but the green tones make this fun.

What an interesting fellow! How do you find these colourful characters?!

he looks a bit grouchy - makes this shot stand out.
Christina Craft 22-Feb-2005 18:44
Another really great portrait. Love teh expression on the man's mouth. It makes the whole shot.
