Marbled White (Melanargia galathea) anticipating heavy rain. I was taking photos in a meadow near our house when all of a sudden life came to a stop: All butterflies and most bees retreated to leaves and blossoms. I was wondering what had happened when I felt the first drops of rain... Luckily, I had a plastic bag with me to store my gear in when I hurried home - 10Ds are not waterproof.
