In June of 2005, Cathy, Murray, Jim and I did the Wonderland Trail in 8 days. It is 90 miles long and has over 20,000 feet of cumulative elevation gain.

It rained continuously for the first day and night, but after that we had pretty nice weather. I had foolishly bought a tent off ebay that proved to have a sun damaged fly that leaked like a sieve and we had to cut up and plaster our trash compactor bag sleeping bag covers onto the fly sheet to keep out the rain on the first night! The weather was so yucky the first day that we don't have any pictures.

Our clockwise route was:
Day 1 Longmire to Devils Dream (8th June) no pictures!
Day 2 Devils Dream to Klapatche Park (9th June)
Day 3 Klapatche Park to Golden Lakes (Sunset)
Day 4a Golden Lakes to Mowich Lake (10th June)
Day 4b Mowich Lake to Dick Creek - 9.6 Miles (11th June)
Day 5 Dick Creek to Sunrise Camp - 12 Miles (12th June)
Day 6 rest day at Sunrise (13th June)
Day 7 Sunrise Camp to Summerland - 10.5 Miles (14th June)
Day 8 Summerland to Maple Creek (15th June)
Day 9 Maple Creek to Longmire (16th June)
