Visit to the Scalextric (Hornby) factory in Margate

For Tony's birthday on 14 August we were very generously allowed to visit to the Hornby factory in Margate. We had a great time, and although they no longer manufacture there you can imagine what it was like in it's heyday.

What an excellent trip down memory lane and so sad to see the factory is now just a warehouse. Still better to see it is still intact then completely demolished. Triang is so sort after these days it is surprising that a one off a year line of models are not produced like Wrenn do ???
