The coal mine trail goes between the three towns of Cle Elum, Roslyn and Ronald. Roslyn is the quaint little town that the tv series Northern Exposure was filmed in and the Roslyn Cafe was featured in that series. It is a very laid back little town. I love the old houses and small businesses there. It reminds me of the small town I grew up in Alaska.
