I set out to take at least one photo each day, and share them here with you.
They may not be award winning photos, but they'll be a little bit of my world.
I live on a small farm in central Texas, so you're sure to see lots of critters! =)

It was so very nice "visiting" your farm via your web site and photos. Due to age and health we recently moved from our small ranch where we raised alpacas and I do miss that life. Also I grew up on a farm so your web site is a delightful way to spur memories. thank you.

I just love your photos. I was just tellin my dh about the Indian Blanket flowers. The yellow and red ones. That's what we called them when I was little and I don't know the right name. I said that when I grew up in the middle of Texas as a little girl, they were everywhere. And Lo and Behold, you are from Texas. I should have known. Anna, Your photos are absolutely beautiful. You have an eye for detail and the rainbow of colors that are portrayed from your farm animals to your farm itself are so serene. Oh how I wish we could live on a farm. Hubby and I had a professional photography business of taking weddings, portraits and babies. He had just started experimenting taking pictures of animals and birds when our life was so undeservingly interrupted due to a drunk driver hitting us head one. Now that my husband must use a cane not only to walk but to balance himself, we unfortunately had to close the business. Being able to come and look at the beauty you so lovingly capture, eases our photography withdrawals. Please keep up the great awesome work. You are an artist with a FLAIR!

Hi Anna, I've been really enjoying your blog this morning. Anyway you would give me the right to use one of your phots as a basis for a painting? Outside of stamping I'm a pastel artist. Maybe swap rights to your photos in your gallery, in exchange for a painting (Few hundred dollar value). How about it? I wouldn't use your photos for anything other than basis for paintings. They are wonderful! I live in a rural community myself. Surrounded by farms, but I don't live on a farm. I envy you. Hugs

I love your pics. I'd love to see some trees, old buildings and mailboxes. Not that you're taking requests hehehe. But I sure do miss my trees and barns from the midwest. I live in so. cal. now and I love it here too just in a different way. I miss my trees. =( I think I need to take a trip north for trees.

omg. I love how these are turning out. That flower field with the cattle at the end is really nice. He looks like he's thinkin "I aint playin" =D. So many flowers WOW. I miss those from when I lived in the Midwest. I always liked those caterpillers too. I always called them woolybers. I don't know why I called them that I just always did. To me the change of season didn't start until I saw a woolyber. Thanks for kicking off spring for me! We don't see those out here in CA.

Cool idea. I think Bill Gates has done this for years? He displays his pics on a bulletin board on his wall, (I think I heard this somewhere) I don't know. But I thought it was a cool idea when I heard it back then. Maybe I'll try this too. (I'm no photographer though, just my little powershot digital). I'll come over to your PAD anyday for a visit.
