What a crazy morning it was!
Got up 5.30 to be early enought to photograph the Vasco da Gama bridge before sunrise.
Did not want to walk (2 miles) from my accommodation, so decided to crab a taxi.
Many drivers do not speak english, so I showed a picture to the driver where I wanted him to drop me off.
What happened? He did not understand that I wanted to be UNDER the bridge, instead of that he drove TO the bridge
- which is 17,2 km (10,7 miles) long and you cannot turn back anywhere!
Oh boy, we drove alllllll the way to the other end and back! I got a few pictures but because I was late, did not capture the ones I had planned.
Oh well, at least I can say I have driven Europe's longest bridge!
