Ronda is an installation by Kaisa Salmi projected onto the wall of one of the bell towers of Helsinki Cathedral.
The installation is based on an image that has been painted by hand using special polyaniline pigmented paint,
which allows the colour of the paint to be reproduced with exceptional clarity and richness on the reflecting surface.
On the left: for the first time in the history of Lux Helsinki all four sides of Helsinki Cathedral became part of one light installation:
Domus 360° – Four Homes was able to be experienced from all four directions. Each side of the cathedral had its own motif and style.
