Ahhhhh... the pleasure of a two-week vacation!! Angie's parents visited us in Europe for a couple of weeks in May. Our trip together began in Vienna, Austria where we spent four days seeing many of Vienna's beautiful places, as well as spending time with Michael's parents. We then traveled to Velden in Carinthia (Southern Austria), enjoying seeing the area in the Spring. While in Carinthia, Angie and her parents visited relatives in St. Primus. They showed us some spectacular places in the Austrian alps and some of northern Slovenia. After a couple of days there, we took the train back to Karlsruhe and spent the last few days around Woerth and Karlsruhe. Angie and her parents also drove to Heidelberg one day to tour the altstadt and revisit the town of Leiman where her parents lived many years ago.
