C(z)(w)vitko whi(ch)(ts)?

We visited the town of Kleinwarasdorf in the state of Burgenland in Austria where Michael's father lived as a young boy.
Although I am usually not much into visiting graves, this friedhof (cemetary) there was quite interesting and very pretty.

Apparently there is more than one (or two or three...) ways to spell Cvitkovich, Michael's family name.
I guess that could have been rather confusing for the locals there. I imagine them asking "Ok, now which C(z)(w)vitkovi(ch)(ts) are you?".

The family name is actually of Croatian origin and many of the graves here have inscriptions in Croatian instead of German.
We saw one other lady there that afternoon and Michael's father greeted her in Croatian. Rather interesting...
