You and I have talked at length about the meaning of sunset pictures already in my own "fresh visions" gallery athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/33923616. What makes your own sunset image not a cliche is the way you link the setting to nature. And a sunset is a natural phenomenon. It is the spindly trunks of those trees on the ridge that make this picture so memorable. All those little tree trunks reach in salute to the setting sun, as if it was the center of the Universe. And it is! A memorable image, Jen, and no doubt very characteristic of Dongguan.
