Those two older shots of the concert scenarios are undoubtedly taken at the Grand Funk Railroad / Wet Willie show held on March 30th, 1974 (I still have my red ticket stub to prove it). The stage was right up against the stands, and one side alone was available for seating. Note the "Mar 74" date on the right edge of both photos. That has to be the Wet Willie entourage crossing the field (one with guitar in hand) in the second photo. They were a large ensemble and started things off with a Southern bang. Mark and the boys came on later and took us all on home. I’d just taken my first acid trip the day before and things were still 'rearranging' themselves in my head.
