Andy - great pictures. Keep up the good work.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I remember when I first saw your galleries last autumn I thought "there's someone who knows how to use a camera...I wonder what his photos would look like if he had a DSLR?"
Well, it looks like I have my answer - the quality of your photography has come on leaps and bounds over the past six months, your Arran 08 gallery is just tremendous work, there's so much to admire in the photos and it's one I revisit often...the America gallery too is a gem. And now you're into macro...is there no stopping you?? :o))
What I love about your photos though Andy, is that you have an eye for what makes a good image - one that's interesting, artistic, with thoughtful composition and structure, well-lit textures and tones, and which stands out from the crowd. And in my opinion, there's not too many folk like that on Pbase.
Don't stop.... :o)
Hey Andrew. Great pics from the States. It's amazing to see how beautifully an artistic eye can present simple barns and trees. You have a gift. ETS
Hi Andrew, lovin your slide show and the new Christmas photos. Proud of you.
Thank you for browsing my galleries and adding comments...much appreciated. I think you have the beginnings of great galleries here. I especially liked the splashes and the fowl. The wet duck could be "fowl weather" haha. How lucky you are to be in Scotland with such a wonderful backdrop for photos.
