The supernova in Centaurus A (NGC5128), discovered by Peter Marples and Greg Bock on 8th February. Imaged 24 hours after discovery, at 13h UT on 9th February. It's type is presently uncertain, and it is partially hidden by the dust in the galaxy. 200% crop of the core.
