Also known as Messier 7, this young cluster floats about 1000 light-years away in front of a rich golden field of stars near the centre of our Galaxy. The dark dust cloud Barnard 287 is to the lower left, and the globular cluster NGC6453 is to the upper right. Press F11 for full screen.
