Over the time I have been looking back through the generations of my families photographs there have been a number of images which need to be shared. This archive is a method to enable that and hopefully will be kept as an ongoing project to ensure that the images aren't lost. It also hopefully encourages others to start their own family photo archive sites.

May I ask did the Burgess family have any links with Leeds or Thirsk in Yourshire?
In 1947 our family were visiting friends in Coventry. One evening my Father visited meriden to see a relative who was a Baker and who had a large Bakery business. My Father's name was George Edward Clayton born in 1890 the name Handforth in relation to the Bakery name/location rings a bell. Iwas 14 yrs old at the time.
