Jordan

The trip to Jordan was sparked in February when our friend sent us a powerpoint of Petra, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.

With the intention to re-live the stories of Lawrence of Arabia in Wadi Rum and Indiana Jones The Last Crusade in Petra, we got far more than what we expected during this 13-day trip that span from the ancient city of Jerash in north Jordan to the marine port of Aqaba in south Jordan. We spent three days in Petra and camped out for two nights in the desert area north of Wadi Rum.

Jordan might be poor but it is rich in culture and full of beautiful scenery. Contrary to the general perception that travelling in Middle East is dangerous, Jordan is safe and more importantly Jordanian are very friendly. In fact, the desert guide, a local Bedouin, becomes our friend and holds a special place in our memory.

You are welcome to join us in this photo journey of Jordan.
