He also allowed me to experiment with my Canon S95 for inside shots at the fantastic restaurant across the street from the Hotel Kabuki but I don't remember its name.

The first shot indoors was at iso100 because that's the default and I forgot to change it. Taken at 1/20th of a second, it's still clear, so this small camera does handle low light well.

All shots were taken with the Canon S95 with existing light, no flash.
