Can anyone from Florence identify the artist? It's on the label at San Marco.

Florence, Italy

An infant jesus resembling a baby more than usual - San Marco
I tried to remember the artist's name but have forgotten it. I hope someone knows. Beautiful work.

Glad you liked it the painting. I only took a portion of it. Re the baby-like qualities, that's speaking only relatively, as far as these paintings of those times go. Usually, they make him look like a little old man and very stern. I hope someone knows the painter's name...

Wonderful well-focused close-up. Striking in that everyone -including the 'baby' Jesus - is looking left (including the bird) except for the man in toga. Disagree about the baby. Look at the well-coifed hairdo! And adult-appearing eyes.
