özgül, thanks for the correction. That they have gold-plated faucets besides led to the 'bath' idea, but you are no doubt right that these are more royal toilets! Thanks again.

This might be embarassing to say but it wasn't a bath exactly :) What you see is an Alaturca toilets. There were many of them for neccessaries of people.
