That's exactly what I felt! So glad that someone picked up on that. On the biggest one,
there were about 2 million stones, averaging 2 tons each. Built around 5,000 years ago.

I think of Italy and how the stuff I loved was done about 500 years ago, but... 5000 yrs
ago is just very hard to even take in.

Wow. I've never seen the pyramids as a backdrop to "modern" hustle and bustle. This is quite interesting, and shows how very large these monuments are!
