The Bent Pyramid, built by Senefru, father of Cheops/Khufu
Much of the limestone covering remains. Dahshur.

Dahshur, Egypt

Senefru's alternate spellings are commonly Snefru, Sneferu

The tracks remind me that all roads ultimately lead to ...

The limestone casing that made it smooth and brilliant in sunlight
was generally stolen for use elsewhere.

That's a bus near the pyramid, although
the first pyramids are less popular than the Giza 3.

I don't know. Some are two-wheel tracks. It was about 9:37 on a nicely overcast day,
thank the Lord, and there was hardly anyone else around. These older pyramids are
actually quite interesting but we read about their makers before we got there. The tomb reliefs are more modern, realistic, and have more energy and motion than the more
static ones that we see so much of in the later dynasties.

So are the tracks from ORV's? Those little 3 wheel jobbers?
