Canon A710 test shots

These are mostly test shots with the Canon A710 ISCanon A710, which is a small 7-megapixel point & shoot with full manual controls in addition to a 6x telephoto zoom lens and very effective image stabilization, superceded by the similar but more capable Canon A720 ISCanon A720, reviewed here.

    The first few shots, at the bottom, were mainly taken indoors.  ISO 800 is very grainy, but the anti-shake is very effective for low-light, slow-shutter photos.  Will stick to lower ISOs most of the time.  Later I found that image stabilization helps to get good low-light shots at iso200, in fact.

    This is a sort of photoblog of random images.

Must visit photo gallary for canon powershot A710 users. I too have this camera but not used much. I shall take more snaps in future as displayed above.
