I was lucky to spend a few days in Tokyo last week at the height of the Cherry Blossom (Sakura) bloom. "Hanami" is the activity of viewing the Sakura, by either walking around looking at it, or plonking down on blue tarps under the trees complete with beer and saki.... The "Kanamachi Team" gallery shows members of the Kanamachi Fire Station, who invited me to join them for a drink and a laugh. Fantastic to meet these people and to enjoy classic Japanese warmth and hospitality.
