The grave of the famous war poet, Wilfred Owen who was killed on November 4th, during the crossing of the Sambre-Oise canal just one week before the armistice in 1918. His mother read the telegram notifying her of her son's death whilst the church bells were pealing to tell the people about the end of the war.
