The tower, build by the Bulgarian feudal lord Stefan Dragovol (Hrelyo) in 1335 is well preserved defense installation from the Bulgarian, middle ages. Height - about 23 meters. On the last storey there is a chapel "St. Transfiguration of Christ" (Preobrajenie Hristovo) with a fresco from 14 century.
