San Diego County Fair Without People

The San Diego County Fair (formerly called the Del Mar Fair) is a county fair held every summer at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California.
The fair is a major draw for San Diego County residents; in recent years, attendance figures have risen above a million annually, reaching a record all-time attendance of 1,274,442 in 2009.
As this is usually a very busy place, I thought it would be interesting to take images of the fair without the crowds.

This is a very interesting gallery. It's so colorful, festive, and yet lonely. And, NO signs of activity - I mean, no garbage strewn around, all the booths are in perfect order and well stocked...very erie with a deserted feeling - directly juxtaposed to the essence of a fair. Creative!!

Definitely I like the idea at the basis of this gallery. It’s an interesting and colourful series with very accurate pictures; at the same time it has the peculiarity to show the fair totally empty, without any human presence, giving to the images a surrealistic feeling.
