End of the Line

Santa Fe Depot, Downtown San Diego.
This is the farthest Southwest one can travel by train in the Continental U.S.
There used to be train lines that ran from here to Mexico and to Arizona.
Nowadays you can only take the train North to L.A.

Beautiful symmetry in this image! V It's such a shame that trains aren't as popular in the US as they are in Europe; we just refuse to give up our cars!
