North Facade

A closer view A view of the north facade of the castle from inside the outer wall..
The photo shows how the two living houses were connected by a wall which was filled in and became the outer wall of a third house.
The addition of the porch is late, probably from the 19th Century using original building materials.

What wonderful series of photos! We will be traveling to Germany in Oct 2014 and going through the area, hence my researching Schloss Eisenbach. Might I assume, since this appears to still be a family residence, that it is not possible to go on the property without prior permission?

Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos.

Grand old structure, as if rooted to the earth. A very pleasing perspective here. V
