North Facade

A view of the north facade of the castle from outside the outer wall.
Here one can see that the outside fortification have been lowered, modified and to some degree removed to allow for better lighting and a view.
The photo shows how the two living houses were connected by a wall which was filled in and became the outer wall of a third house.
The back of the house on the left is unoccupied.

Very stately and grand. Wonderful stonework and masonry too. I do like your composition and your explanation of how the houses are situated over time.

Very impressive from this point of view. It looks like they're still working on the walls. Super capture. V.

Great view of this impressive building. Interesting architectural styles of the outer parts, and pretty clever to use to existing walls to build a third house. V

Great shot, you certainly did well to get the close ups in the other photographs. V
