This was such modern styling for its day and its beauty has held up over time.
The Hawks were an evolution from Raymond Lowey's magnificent styling design of the 1953 Studebaker Commander. This brings back wonderful memories, as I spent a lot of my free time in the 1950s, as a teenager, hanging around a Studebaker dealership. A fine image. V
