Wrecked Helicopter

Went to the Annex of the Air & Space Museum at Gillespie Field today.
The facility consisting of several hangars and a few acres of open ground is used for restoring aircraft.
Could not resist shooting this Helicopter against the beautiful sky and cloudscape.
I don't know if this will be restored, but I would not put it past the guys working here, most of them are ex-military mechanics.
They are cool about twenty of us coming over for a morning photo shoot next month by the way.

Excellent perspective against this great blue sky. Looks like this one has seen a lot of use at one time. Might be a restoration piece. V

Grand shot of the sky and this once-proud chopper!
Judging by the scab patches, this one may have seen "action".
It may be worth saving if powerplant, transmission, and avionics are salvageable.
