The End of Summer

We did not have much of a Summer here. Practically every day was foggy until mid-morning and sometimes until noon.
The cool temperatures did not allow many of the lotus flowers to grow and the fog rolling in again in the afternoon was not conducive to sunset and night photography.
Walking in the park today we saw one of the last lotuses and bees, and we watched the pond begin to change back to winter mode.
Still we walked together nearly every day this summer and we have lots of memories of our conversations and in the many photos I posted in this gallery.
