Relatively lightweight, fairly fast focusing and sharp until about 230mm or so. A good lens, especially on a DX body and great buy for the money.
The drawbacks are that is not tack sharp at 300mm and the f/5.6 aprture is slow at that focal length.
Still for the money a good buy and because of its weight a good travel lens.
