Bananas

The O.M. Agarum unloads her cargo.
Each vessel holds 491 40 foot containers. Each container holds about 1,000 boxes of Bananas, and each box holds about 100 Bananas.
That makes for about 49.1 million Bananas per shipload. Close to 2 Billion Bananas are discharged at this terminal every year, as well as about 19 million individual pineapples.

omg....now we know where they are coming from..hope, they are all organic.and the workers who filled this giant are treated and paid fairly......yaa sure....the banana pesticide leaves male workers sterile for a while....so i have heard..maybe thats a good thing...who knows....awesome shot in any case, congratulations, walter!!!...:) v

So that's where all those bananas at Walmart come from! The hull beneath the surface of the water must be huge to counter all that heavy cargo up high on the main deck, and we can see a portion of the bulbous hull here in this comprehensive view of the working vessel. V
