The Star of India at the Embarcadero
The Star of India is the world's oldest active ship. She began her life on the stocks at Ramsey Shipyard in the Isle of Man in 1863.
She is now part of the Maritime Museum of San Diego and is well preserved. She has become a symbol of San Diego.
She is docked at the Embarcadero, the waterfront home of the Maritime Museum of San Diego, the USS Midway Aircarft Museum, the Army Tugboat Museum,
the Hornblower harbor cruise ships docks, the cruise ship Terminal, high rise hotels and condos and Seaport Village's shops and restaurants.
